Michele is the Senior Manager, Pharmacy Technical Standards, Development & Policy, Government Relations at Walgreens. Michele leads efforts within Walgreen to influence public policy as it applies to pharmacy technical standards. She actively engages and advises members of the government relations Federal and State teams as well as internal and external stakeholders about standards such as NCPDP, while ensuring compliance with these standards.  She has been extremely active in NCPDP over the past 19 years, served as chair of the Board of Trustees in 2015-2016, and received NCPDP’s TIME (The Individual Member Excellence) Award in 2014. She currently leads several task groups within NCPDP, include the Work Group 11 REMs Workflow to Transaction Task Group.  She graduated from the University of Florida with a B.S in Pharmacy.
